Edit category of the product in the offer

Good afternoon,

We are working on integrating our application with Allegro.

Using the API request POST https://api.{environment}/sale/product-offers, we created an offer in Allegro (the product did not previously exist in Allegro).

After opening the Allegro store, we realized that we need to change the existing category of this product in the published offer to another category (also suggested by Allegro).

At the moment we are trying to do this using the request
PATCH https://api.{environment}/sale/product-offers/{offerId}, but without success (we receive an error saying that we should replace the new category with the old one).

Could you please advise which API requests we should use to do this?

Pracujemy nad integracją naszej aplikacji z Allegro.

Za pomocą zapytania API POST https://api.{environment}/sale/product-offers utworzyliśmy ofertę w Allegro (produkt wcześniej nie istniał w Allegro).

Po otwarciu sklepu Allegro zauważyliśmy, że musimy zmienić obecną kategorię tego produktu w opublikowanej ofercie na inną kategorię (również sugerowaną przez Allegro).

Obecnie próbujemy to zrobić za pomocą zapytania
PATCH https://api.{environment}/sale/product-offers/{offerId}, jednak bez powodzenia (otrzymujemy błąd informujący, że powinniśmy zamienić nową kategorię na starą).

Czy mogliby Państwo podpowiedzieć, za pomocą jakich zapytań API możemy to zrobić?

Based on the guide, do we correctly understand that we can change the category only within 12 hours after the offer is published? At the same time, if we assign the category “Other,” we cannot change it later, and we also cannot change an existing category to “Other.”
