seller delivers to Germany. in shopping cart I get "seller does not deliver to your country"

i have contacted the seller who confirmed that he delivers to Germany and that all settings are correct on his side. yet in shopping cart when I choose my German address I get "seller does not ship to your country" error. this happens with a lot of items not just one. any way to get around this?

The seller must comply with EU requirements and obtain ERP numbers to be able to ship orders to Germany.

In addition, if the goods are electronics, the seller must enter the WEEE number.

I understand that you are interested in purchasing, but these numbers must be added by the seller himself.
