I just bought a used monitor from a seller on Allegro Lokalnie and the way he built his product description is like a professional scammer, he made the price just slightly lower than others with a similar product, he didn't indicate the fact that the monitor was damaged in the title or anywhere in the topp of the post. The "condition says "used"" not damaged. And he added a massive body of text, i think the maximum allowed for a classified and he hid in there towards the bottom that it was not working.
I waited for him to ship the product for 3 days and tried messaging and calling him multiple times, then when i asked allegro for help he began to be extremely offensive saying he will not refund my money, that he was going to send the item soon and that he will not cancel the order.
This is a person who was counting on somebody to buy the item and sell them a broken product for almost full price, if this wasn't his intention then he wouldn't have a problem simply refunding the money and waiting to sell it to someone who is looking for a broken product, as he has not yet even sent the item. this shows that he was hoping for this. He could simply re-list it.
At the end of his product description he has legal information so it's like a trap because he must do this often.
My question is this, does allegro do anything to these sellers? Is this a huge problem on this platform? For example if someone tried doing this on **piiip** then customer service would see whats happeneing and take the side of the customer. I know that Allegro has a reputaion to protect and I'm waiting for a response from them, do you think that they will take the sellers side? or Did I just get money stoeln from me?
