VAT(nip) free for EU buyers

I received an email saying that as of March 1st, it would be possible for companies in the EU to make purchases without VAT (with a valid VAT ID number). However, the system is still charging me VAT. Do you have any idea why this might be happening?

@nakitko The change introduced concerns the fees and commissions we charge sellers. The change does not affect the prices in the offers.

We purchase without VAT from all suppliers in Poland, so I don’t understand why we can’t buy without VAT through your website.

I have sent multiple emails on support about this and never received a clear answer. The VAT number just needs to be verified on Vies and the issue should be resolved.

Do you have any information on when we will be able to purchase without VAT?

Thank you @nakitko, now everything is clear.
As @Sa_nova wrote, the change mentioned in the e-mail concerns the fees and commissions we charge sellers. The change does not affect the prices in the offers. As you received a reply from our consultant in e-mail case 57413930, Allegro is currently working on implementing solutions that will enable purchases with a 0% VAT rate for intra-Community supply of goods (ICS) transactions.

However, we do not yet have a confirmed implementation date.
